Partnerships Director and Senior Coach:

Saeed Younis, BSc Sports Studies.

Power For Women was created from a simple but serious belief:
that safety is not just a personal issue - it’s a leadership and societal responsibility.

My background spans sport and performance, behavioural psychology, and real-world conflict management, alongside experience in public-facing and community safety environments. Over time, that combination shaped how I see this work - not as teaching techniques alone, but as helping people and organisations understand risk, responsibility, confidence and prevention in everyday life.

What matters most to me is relevance. Real situations. Real pressures. Real lives.

The work we do is grounded in evidence and lived experience, but delivered in a way that is practical, respectful and empowering - particularly for women and girls navigating complex environments at work, in education and in society.

Partnership, not performance

At the heart of my work is partnership.

Power For Women does not operate as a one-off intervention or awareness exercise. We work with organisations - employers, universities, networks and community partners - to help translate values around equality, wellbeing and safety into credible, lived practice.

I lead on strategic partnerships and relationship development, ensuring our work aligns with the culture, responsibilities and realities of the organisations we collaborate with. That means listening carefully, building trust over time, and designing approaches that strengthen people and the systems around them.

Power For Women now works in partnership with employers, educational institutions and civic organisations across the UK.

I believe meaningful change only happens when responsibility is shared - when individuals feel empowered, leaders feel accountable, and organisations are willing to move beyond intention into action.

This work is personal to me - as a father, a brother, a son and a partner - but it is also deeply professional. My focus is on long-term impact, not visibility; on relationships that compound, not initiatives that fade.

If you’re here, you’re already part of that conversation.
